Mark Burdett and Lisa LaPlaca have worked together for almost a decade on a variety of ventures to include Fivestar, Major League Lacrosse, Chesapeake Bayhawks, Legendary Sports Group, Smartlink and others.
Mark was born and raised in Annapolis, MD, where he still resides with his wife, close by their children and growing flock of grandkids. A University of Maryland graduate, Mark spent significant time with the Baltimore Ravens, Washington Redskins, WUSA Channel 9 and Major League Lacrosse.
Lisa, a Connecticut native, put down roots in Maryland after graduating from Loyola College in Baltimore. Her career began at AOL/Advertising.com focused on digital marketing and SEM/SEO and has since held a variety of roles managing the areas of marketing, events, sponsorship, operations and media/design.
